Diagnosis of the fetal unilateral renal agenesis can be missed by ultrasound if the contralateral kidney have a good
function and the amount of amniotic fluid is adequate. And it can be overlooked if there is a adrenal gland in the renal
fossa which lose the true kidney. The fetal unilateral renal agenesis companies much of urogenital anomaly and
therefore is clinically important. We report a case of fetal unilateral renal agenesis, which was diagnosed at 27 weeks
of gestation by ultrasound and MRI, with a brief review of literatures.
